How To Safely Clean Converse Shoes

Lets face it, cleaning your expensive pair of shoes can be rather scary, especially if you have never done it before or you have seen the label saying not to machine wash. I rarely ever listen to the washing instructions on clothing items as they are often just there as a safety barrier for the company if you do something stupid and damage the item, I have even washed cashmere in a washing machine! Step 1: Remove dirt from the sole of the shoe. This might seem obvious when you think about it but several people I know have tried washing their shoes with the mud and gunk still on the sole and it simply transfers from the sole to the material part of the shoe and gets it mucky again, not what we want. If  you have chewing gum on the sole of the shoe then press and ice cub onto the gum and then use a knife to flick it off.   Step 2: Tie those laces! Yes, contrary to what you have heard before I have always found it best to leave the laces tied. Simply put on the shoe, tie t

What Do We Know About Ru Pauls Drag Race UK?

Great news for all Drag Race fans from the UK as the show has confirmed that they will be doing a UK version with Ru Paul, Graham Norton, Alan Carr and Michael Visage being the permanent judges. As with the US version each week will feature two special guest judges. Graham Norton and Alan Carr are both famous British comedians who both have the quick witted, sassy yet subtle comedy style that Ru Paul has previously said he loves. Apparently there is going to be a royal themed episode, because of course there is and Ru Paul heavily hinted at wanting Meghan Merkle as a guest judge for this episode. Who's the queens? Nothing has being confirmed as of yet (as usual) and film is expected to take place in London within a BBC studio as the series will be on BBC3. Rumours have swirled around who is going to be on the show and get a spot on the first UK RPDR season. Instagram detectives have done sleuthing and a bio queen called Delirium has been rumoured to be taking part, mainly

Why Yvie Oddly Should Win Drag Race S11

[SOME SPOILERS AHEAD] If you have not been watching season 11 of Ru Paul's Drag Race Season 11 then you're truly missing out. Episode 1 brought about the elimination of a youtube favourite "Soju" being eliminated in week one and the return of Miss Vanjie. Many of the queens have quickly impressed fans (I have a soft spot of Plastique Tiara, fish and talent/comedy? legend). A rivalry quickly brewed between the loud, outgoing and hilarious Silky Nutmeg Ganache with Ru saying she is a star and the freakishly endearing yet gentle soul Yvie Oddly. Yvie Oddly became my absolute favourite and my horse to back the second we saw that coral umbrella full body pink look. Truly amazing 1) Her Aesthetic.... Yvie has the ability to not only change her silhouette in each and every challenge but at times even the entire theme of the challenge. Yvie has the uncanny ability to take a challenge and force it through her Yvie freakish filter and produce consistently stunning
